Had my fortnightly telephone appointment with the doctor. He was in such a rush on the phone.
He wanted to increase my Fentanyl patches so now I am on 75mcg but I said if I want to go down can I without side effects and he said yes but who knows as I know how your body gets used to Fentanyl.
Such a high dose so I don’t know what the pain consultant will say if I ever get that appointment through.
I asked about different pain medication for the breakthrough pain and now have Sevredol (morphine) tablets too as the codeine did nothing.
I wasn’t sure if to increase the patches which I said to him, because I am much more tired and with the chronic fatigue it isn’t great.
My anxiety is much higher too.
Guess all I can do is see how the pain goes with this higher dose.
